Privacy Policy

Kristin Heeney Optometry Professional Corporation, operating as Spadina Optometry, is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information entrusted to us. Spadina Optometry is a Health Information Custodian under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

  • Personal Health Information (PHI) is governed by PHIPA.
  • Other personal information (such as website inquiries or general communications) is governed by Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We comply with all applicable privacy laws and professional standards.

Spadina Optometry remains responsible for personal information in our custody or control.

If a concern cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, you may make a complaint to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, which oversees the administration of Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act.
